NEW DELHI: The Nifty PSU Bank index was trading 0.05 per cent up at 2925.35 on Thursday with most of its components trading in the green.
Shares of Bank of Baroda (up 0.67 per cent), IDBI Bank (up 0.50 per cent), Oriental Bank of Commerce (up 0.47 per cent) and Syndicate Bank (up 0.43 per cent), were trading with decent gains.
Union Bank of India (up 0.37 per cent),
Punjab National Bank (up 0.35 per cent), Bank of India (up 0.06 per cent) and
Canara Bank (up 0.06 per cent) too were trading in the green.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 10.85 points at 10,587.15 while the BSE Sensex was up 48.86 points at 35190.85 at 10:27 am.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Idea Cellular, Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, Bank of Baroda, SBI, NHPC, Motherson Sumi, Sun Pharma, Axis Bank, BHEL and ICICI Bank were among most the traded shares on the NSE.
