Roger Federer slumps at ATP Finals (Tennis)| Six time ATP Finals champion Roger Federer lost his opening fixture against seventh seed Kei Nishikori 6-7 3-6. Nishikori, who is a two-time semi-finalist at the season finale held at The O2 in London, had not beaten Federer since March 2014 in Miami. The 2012 Wimbledon finalist, said in a statement "today, after 13 years of playing tennis competitively I have decided to end my career. ICC Womens World T20 (Cricket) | The sixth edition of the ICC Women's World T20 event kicked off in the Caribbean. This is the first time that the Women's World T20 tournament is being organised as a stand-alone tournament. The previous editions have been held alongside Men's T20 World Cup. The Caribbean islands of Guyana, St. Lucia and Antigua are hosting the tournament. Indian women's team got off to a great start with wins against New Zealand and Pakistan. Women's World Boxing kicks-off in Delhi| The 10th edition of the the Women's World Boxing championship kicked-off in New Delhi. The competition sees the participation of 300 boxers from 70 countries including eight debutants. The competition drew flak from many boxers owing to severe level of pollution in the Delhi. Anthony Martial converted from the spot in the 58th minute after substitute Romelu Lukaku was fouled by the on-rushing Ederson but City proved too strong an opponent for José Mourinho's men to kindle any further hope of revival. This was City's first home derby victory in four years. The win saw City continue its stay at top of the Premier League table while United linger at eighth -- 12 points adrift from their cross town rivals.
