3 arrested, 15 bikes worth Rs 20 lakh recovered

MANGALURU: The Mangaluru City police have arrested three youth from Kerala and recovered 15 stolen bikes worth Rs 20 lakh, here on Wednesday.
The arrested are Shahir, 23, from Manjeshwara; Mohammed Adil, 26, from Uppala and Abdul Munavar, 21, from Kasaragod.
During interrogation, the trio have revealed that they have stolen two-wheelers including Royal Enfield motorbikes from various places under the Mangaluru City Commissionerate. They had stolen four motorbikes from Ullal police station limits, six motorbikes in Mangaluru South police station limits, two motorbikes in Mangaluru North police station limits, two motorbikes under Urwa police station and one motorbike in Mangaluru East limits.
