After months of hiding, ignoring and blatantly denying, Angad Bedi has admitted that Neha Dhupia was pregnant before their secret, hush-hush wedding. 

The two tied the knot in a secret wedding back in May and rumour mills had it that the two married because Neha was pregnant. 

Speculations spread like wildfire, but the couple and Neha’s father denied the rumours, and in fact, for a long time Neha tried to hide her baby bump. 

However, the couple has now finally given rest to rumours and have come out in the open to confirm that Neha was pregnant before the sudden wedding.

The couple revealed this on Neha's chat show #NoFilterNeha. 

Neha, during the course of the show asked hubby dear, "Was it hard to convice your parents and in-laws about the wedding?"

On this the Soorma actor answered while saying that he was scolded. 

“I said, ‘you know what? We’re gonna have a baby.’ There was silence, bahut jhaad padi (they scolded a lot),” he said. 

The actor added, “I don’t think they were really prepared to hear the news that you were expecting.”

The fun moment was shared in a promo video that Neha Dhupia posted on her Instagram handle.

Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi announced that they were becoming a bigger family back in August. 

Speaking to Mid-Day, the actress explained she kept her pregnancy under the wraps because she feared she wouldn’t get work.

"I was worried people would stop offering work. It was a good thing my bump wasn’t showing till the sixth month because appearances matter here, and one might be assumed to be unfit for a job. Fortunately, my energy levels are high,” she said.

She also said that Angad will make a great dad. “He is the best dad-in-the-making but I am worried what will happen when he and the baby will gang up on me.”
