PM Modi presents awards to India-Singapore Hackathon 2018 winners

Modi, who is in for the East-summit, on Thursday met and felicitated the winning teams of Singapore-Hackathon, an event organized for youths to showcase their skills and innovations.

First prize of SGD 10,000, second prize of SGD 6,000 and third prize of SGD 4,000 were announced for each of the three winners from Singapore and India, the has stated.

The participants were asked to resolve the problems in the areas of mapping, synchronized output of diverse social media, shared digital identity verification, effective number estimate, and allotment, effective learning, personal security were based on campus scenarios which students could easily relate to.

The event which was organised by (NTU) and its innovation and enterprise arm-NTUitive in collaboration with India's All Council for Technical (AICTE), was also attended by Singapore Minister Ong Ye Kung, of Subra Suresh, of All of Technical and of India to Singapore Jawed Ashraf.
