An Irish woman verbally abused the Air India crew on-board a London-Mumbai flight after she was allegedly refused more wine. The incident, wherein the drunk woman was seen hurling abuses at the visibly calm crew, took place on November 10 and was captured on a video.

“You’re the captain aren’t you? I’m working for all your people. The f*****g Rohingyas, the f*****g people of all Asia, for you, an international criminal lawyer. Don’t get any money for it, by the way. But you can’t give me a f*****g glass of wine, is that correct?” These were among the few abusive phrases, the woman, who claimed to be an “international criminal lawyer”, used for the cabin crew.

With aggressive hand gestures, she also threatens the crew that she will ask people to boycott the airlines. “If I say boycott Air India, done,” she was seen saying in the video.

The video which was made accessible on Wednesday has now gone viral on social media.

Even as the exact sequence of events on-board the Air India flight is yet to be ascertained, the crew reportedly, described the woman as very drunk and hence refused to serve any more wine to her.

The national carrier hasn’t issued any statement with regard to the matter so far.
