Truck crashes off motorway bridge, lanes closed on motorway
The driver's cabin has been crushed in a truck accident that forced the closure of lanes on the Logan Motorway in Brisbane's south on Wednesday.
Paramedics did not take anyone to a hospital.
Emergency services received a call about 10.40am to reports of a truck crash at Tanah Merah, near Loganholme.
Footage of the accident appeared to show the prime mover had fallen from the motorway bridge over Slacks Creek onto the surface underneath.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services sent two crews to the scene to help remove a person from the truck. They left the scene about 1pm.
Police said the eastbound lanes of motorway were closed, with a diversion in place at University Drive onto Loganlea Road, and westbound lanes of the motorway were down to one lane.
The Forensic Crash Unit was investigating.
