3-month-old infant among victims

A couple and their three-month-old child were killed on Tuesday after a car they were travelling in met with a gruesome accident on the Outer Ring Road.

Keesara police identified the victims as Dinesh Kumar (38), his wife Sagarika Priyam (28) and their son, three-month-old Rudransh. Kumar used to work at a corporate hospital in Jubilee Hills.

According to police, the unfortunate incident took place around 12.30 p.m. when the victims were on the way back from Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College in Narpally. They are said to have gone to the college to meet Priyam’s 19-year-old brother, who is a student of the college, to pay his fee.

Police said Kumar was driving the car and allegedly lost control near the underpass at Keesara Dayara road and crashed into the roadside rails.

The bodies were retrieved from the car’s mangled remains. They were then sent to the Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem.
