16-year-old girl gang-raped by paramour, two others

captionRajkot: A 16-year-old girl was allegedly repeatedly gang-raped for two days by three persons in Krishna Park Society on Mavdi Road locality of Rajkot. The accused were arrested on Wednesday morning.
Police said the girl had left her house on the evening of November 11 with one of the accused Rajdeep Rola (24), who was her paramour. Rola had made the girl elope with him with the promise of marrying her.
Rola took her to two of his friends’ house in Krishna Park Society. Rola’s friends, identified as Jai Kachhadia (21), who is a mechanical engineer and Chirag Depani (23), who has done diploma in engineering, confined the girl in their house for two days and the trio gang raped her repeatedly several times.
“While the accused were asleep on Tuesday morning, the girl fled from the house and went to her home, where she narrated her sordid tale to her father, who lodged a police complaint. We went to the accused’s house in Krishna Park Society and nabbed the trio,” assistant commissioner of police, Rajkot West, J S Gedam said.
Rola hails from Hirabaug area of Surat and befriended the girl on Diwali this year.
