Madhya Pradesh Assembly Polls 2018: Oops! Congress candidate from Neemuch slams own party

Neemuch: The hallmark of this election has been of blistering attacks on persona, bodyline ‘bowling’ and criticizing one’s party when he or she was left out. It seemed that politicians were more concerned with ‘royalty’ rather than ‘loyalty’. Such a case in hand is Congress candidate Satyanarayan Patidar from Neemuch assembly constituency. He found himself in an embarrassing situation after he slammed his own party at Jawad, a minute before party announced his candidature from Neemuch constituency in the district.

The entire incident was witnessed by hundreds of voters. After his scathing attack… he didi a 360 degree turn around and said he was a party worker and would fight the polls from where ever the party gave him a ticket! Several senior party leaders who wished not to be named expressed their surpise over the party’s major reshuffle and that the candidate too was unaware of the happening. Notably, five from Congress sought ticket from Neemuch, while three from Manasa sought party ticket from the respective seat.

Upset over his ‘ignorance’ from Jawad, Patidar expressed his anguished over the party’s “attitude” and even opposed Ahir’s candidature and declared that he will wait for party high command’s final move and will act as per his supporters’ will. Sources close to him claimed that in the meantime when Patidar expressing his ire, he got some message on his mobile phone and immediately changed his tune. Sources added that it might be possible that somebody informed him about his candidature from Neemuch instead of Jawad. Instead of attacking the party decision, Patidar said that he accepted the party’s decision and will contest elections from Neemuch!
