Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, Deputy CM O Panneerselvam along with other ministers and AIADMK members unveiled a statue of the former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Wednesday at the head office of AIADMK in Royapettah.

The statue which was unveiled earlier for the 70th anniversary of J Jayalalithaa, received several criticisms from various political leaders including TTV Dhinakaran, Nanjil Sampath, etc. In order to settle the issue down, the party unveiled a new statue at the same place.
