Army porter killed in Pakistan firing in Rajouri

An was killed on Wednesday when Pakistani troops opened fire violating the in district, defence sources said.

The was killed in the Nowshera sector along the Line of Control (LoC). He was identified as Surinder Kumar, sources said.

"The Army resorted to unprovoked firing at five locations on the LoC in district today. Indian positions retaliated strongly," a source said, adding the firing exchanges started around 4 p.m. today.

Two Army soldiers have been killed in sniper fire from on the LoC in district during the last seven days.
