A teenage boy has been stabbed in the back twice and his friend pistol-whipped in a horrific robbery on Tuesday night.
Two teenagers, both aged 17, were walking with another friend in Greenslopes, Brisbane, at 12am when they were attacked.
The trio were travelling on Logan Road, near Bardsley Road, after leaving an after-party following their school formal when they were approached from behind.

One of the teenagers was struck on the head with a handgun several times, cutting his forehead and ear. The other teen was stabbed in the back twice.
The third teenager managed to escape the attack.
The two attackers stole a wallet, smart phone and bag before fleeing, police said.
Police believe the attackers escaped in a dark coloured vehicle parked nearby.
A passing police patrol noticed a blue sedan and tried to stop the car before losing sight of the vehicle.
The officers were forced to stop when they were flagged down by the injured teens, who were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
