Taiwan-based Foxconn said Tuesday its net profit for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was 24.9 billion New Taiwan dollars ($805 million). That was lower than the NT$29.3 billion average estimate of analysts polled by FactSet. Its net profit in the year-earlier quarter was NT$21.0 billion.
