On Nov. 18 at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth’s auditorium, Six String Music Company will present Spontaneous Combustion featuring New Bedford’s own Jackie Santos.

Santos will be performing with an all-star band including:


Baron Browne – bass guitar: He has performed with such artists as Kevin Eubanks, Tiger Okoshi, Mike Stern, Bill Frisell, Dean Brown, Tom Jones, Andrea Bocelli and Al Dimeola

Stan Strickland – saxophone: He has performed extensively throughout the United States, Europe, Scandinavia, and New Zealand. He has performed at Jordan Hall, Symphony Hall, Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and performed with the Boston Pops Touring Ensemble.

Steve Hunt – Keyboards: He has studio work with Allan Holdsworth, Stanley Clarke, and Greg Bendian. He also runs Spice Rack Records.

Jeffrey Lockhart – guitar: He studied guitar with Mike Stern. Former musical director with Brian McKnight. He has also recorded with Beyonce, and Dido

Jackie Santos – National and international tours with John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, Tavares, Bob James, Tom Browne and Chuck Berry.
