Pune: Eleno Energy and SoftHard Automation began their campaign on a winning note by respectively beating Inventis India and AFK in the E2D Corporate Cricket League tournament organised by E2D Sports at E2D Cricket Ground in Lavale.

In the opening match, an all round effort by Hanumant Gade, who claimed 3 wickets giving 22 runs and scoring 32 helped Eleno Energy register a 65-run win over Inventis India.

In the second match of the day, SoftHard Automation scored 114-run win over AFK. Batting first SoftHard Automation scored 156 for 3 in their allotted 20 overs. Facing a stiff target, AFK crumbled for just 42 in 13.5 overs with Ketan Pasalkar (5-8),Swapnil Chikhale(3-6) combining well to help their team register 114-run win.
