Starbucks is reportedly planning to lay off about 5 percent of its global corporate workforce.
According to several reports , the coffee giant's CEO Kevin Johnson announced the decision in a memo Tuesday.
The memo reportedly said 350 employees in marketing, creative, product, technology and store development will be affected by the layoffs.
Back in September , Starbucks said it would cut some of its corporate staff as part of "significant" organizational and leadership changes.
The company has struggled with stagnant sales for some time now.
As a result, it's had to cut back on store growth and close underperforming stores.
