England and South Africa registered wins in Group A of the ICC Women’s World T20 here on Monday. While England beat Bangladesh by seven wickets under the D/L method, South Africa got the better of Sri Lanka.

Bangladesh 76 for nine in 20 overs (Ayasha Rahman 39, Kirstie Gordon three for 16) lost to England 64 for three in 9.3 overs (Amy Jones 28 n.o., Salma Khatun two for 17) by D/L method.
