Shares of Tata Motors slipped 3.7 percent in the early trade on Tuesday after it reported the group global wholesales numbers for the month October 2018.
The company's group global wholesales in October 2018, including Jaguar Land Rover, were at 1,09,597, higher by 6 percent, as compared to October 2017.
The global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in October 2018 were at 44,380, higher by 19 percent.
Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in October 2018 were at 65,217, lower by 2 percent.
Jaguar Land Rover global wholesales were 46,766 vehicles (*JLR number for October 2018 includes CJLR volumes of 2,385 units). Jaguar wholesales for the month were 13,373 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 33,393 vehicles.
At 09:17 hrs Tata Motors was quoting at Rs 180.90, down Rs 5.05, or 2.72 percent on the BSE.
