NEW DELHI:
IT shares were trading mixed with the Nifty IT index up 1.42 per cent at 14,760.55 around 10:54 am on Monday.
Shares of Tech Mahindra (up 3.17 per cent), Infosys (up 2.27 per cent), HCL Technologies (up 2.01 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services (up 0.84 per cent) clocked decent gains.
Infibeam Avenues (down 6.10 per cent), Tata Elxsi (down 1.44 per cent) and Wipro (down 0.68 per cent) were among the top laggards.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 1.20 points at 10,584 while BSE Sensex was 31.5 points at 35,127.05 at that time.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 21 were trading in the green, while 29 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, SBI, Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Titan Company, ICICI Bank, Bank of Baroda, Vedanta, NHPC and Indian Oil Corp were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange.
