Scientists have revealed toxins and bacteria are lurking in re-used plastic water bottles of water.
Tests reveal bacteria such as staphylococcus, streptococcus, e.coli and influenzae can be found crawling on plastic bottles of water that are refilled daily.
More than 300,000 germs were found in every square centimetre of a bottle, which is a hundred times more than a pet's toy, reports 7News.

Some plastic bottles include a chemical called phthalates, used to soften plastics, which has been linked to breast cancer, liver damage, dermatitis and nausea.
Professor Stuart Khan with the University of New South Wales said the germs discovered on bottles come directly from us, and are therefore harmless.
'Even if you keep that bottle for a long period of time, without you washing it and it's just you drinking out of it - it's not going to cause any harm at all,' he said.
The safe level of antimony, a toxin used in plastic production, is 6 pars per billion (ppb) - a unit of measurement used to indicate to protect the public from harmful substances.
The amount of antimony found in bottled water was 0.22 ppb, which is nowhere near enough to spark health concerns.

Experts have debated whether bottled water contains bisphenol A (BPA) - a hazardous toxin proven to cause cancer.
But scientist Peter Gleick, who is an expert on global water and climate issues, said plastic bottled water was completely safe to drink.
Mr Gleick said polyethylene terephthalate (PET), the material plastic bottles are made from, has never contained BPA.
