Being stranded with a flat tyre can be a traumatic experience on SA's roads. 

This cool video from Life OD, shows how to create make your own spare wheel from duct tape.

No spare, no problem

The guys featured in the clip remove a tyre from what appears to be a Toyota station-wagon  and replace it with a several rolls of duct tape. The group shapes it into a an object resembling the shape of a tyre.

Once the mass of tape is applied, the car is taken for a drive to test the durability of the now 'duct tyre'. Surprisingly, it copes well on the road and serves as a quick fix.

Before the tape is taken off, a quick burnout is done before the layer is removed and the rubber tyre is replace.
