Ujjain: Congress’ internal dispute is creating harm to its voters share and further weakening its position at both Ujjain north and south constituency seats as its senior leader Maya Trivedi is sticking to her position of contesting election as independent candidate from north seat and Jaysingh Darbar will be contesting independently from south constituency seat. Party leadership had formed committee of senior leaders of district to resolve the issue and persuade both Maya Trivedi and Jaysingh Darbar to withdraw nominations.
Spokesperson Vivek Gupta informed that committee of senior leaders comprising of Dr Batuk Shankar Joshi, Manohar Beragi, Satya Narayan Panwar, Mahesh Soni, Raj Hazur Singh, Amanullah Khan, Jitendra Goyal and Dharmendra Khubchandani tried to meet with the rebel leaders but as both candidates were campaigning so committee talked with them on phone.
