Manchester City 3 - 1 Manchester United | Thanks to the the goals from David Silva (12'), Sergio Aguero (48') and Iikay Gundogan (86'), City came out on the top in the much anticipated Manchester Derby. Anthony Martial converted from the spot in the 58th minute after substitute Romelu Lukaku was fouled by the on-rushing Ederson but City proved too strong an opponent for José Mourinho's men to kindle any further hope of revival. This was City's first home derby victory in four years. Liverpool 2 - 0 Fulham | Controversy marred Liverpool's victory over Fulham at Anfield. Aleksandar Mitrovic's goal was wrongly adjudged off-side and Mohamed Salah scored Liverpool's opener just 12 seconds after the contentious call from the linesman. Xherdan Shaqiri scored Liverpool's second goal in the 53rd minute and ensured three points for the home side. There was a two-minute silence before kick-off with Vichai's son Aiyawatt in attendance.
