A 45-year-old realtor was found dead in his house in Friends Layout in HAL police station limits on Monday.
The deceased, Vijay Prakash Chaurasia, was the Managing Director of VKC Developers Private Limited, which had its corporate office in Marathahalli. He was facing business losses, a police officer said.
The body was found around 1.30 p.m.
Police shifted the body for post mortem. Based on the statement of the family, they registered a case of unnatural death.
Recently, Vandana Kukreja, a software engineer, accused Vijay of taking money for a flat but delaying handing over possession. She had approached Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy in September during the Janata Darshan. The CM had directed the Whitefield police to look into the issue. The police made Vijay register the flat in Vandana's name within 24 hours.
