A family of four, including a six-year-old girl, were found dead in their residence at Doddabommasandra on Monday.
Vidyaranyapura police identified the victims as Janardhan B., 52, a cab driver, his wife Sumithra, 45, a homemaker, their daughter Sudharani, 29, who ran a medical shop along with her husband, and her daughter Sonica, 6, a Class I student.
According to the police, the family was last seen on Saturday morning. A note reportedly states that Sudharani had given a loan of ₹25 lakh to a man as advance to purchase a house. The man died recently in an accident, and she was worried about losing the money.
