It was another disappointing series for Australia as they lost the 3-match ODIs to South Africa in Hobart. Batting first, Proteas posted a massive total of 320 on board and like we witnessed in the last few games Aussies were on the back foot. However, there was hope of winning the game and series, when Shaun Marsh was at the crease. During his innings, Marsh smashed a huge six, most of which was missed by fans in the stands. However, among his sixes, one six was caught by a security officer.

Marsh, during the 30th over, pulled Dwaine Pretorius’s short-pitch delivery out of boundary line. At the stands, an official caught the ball and held it close to his heart but fell on ground as he lost his balance while holding the ball.
Talking about the match, Shaun Marsh scored 106 off 102 balls to keep Australia’s hope of winning their 1st ever series after the ball-tampering scandal. However, his efforts went in vain as Proteas registered a 40-run win over the hosts.
