Sophie Monk has shared a confronting video in which she's unconscious in hospital after a surgical procedure.

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Monday, the 38-year-old posted footage in which she is laying on a gurney, flanked by doctors and nurses.

In further video, the groggy former Bachelorette is tended to by a surgeon, who offers a shock diagnosis of endometriosis.

'We did find some endometriosis,' the doctor reveals, 'But not a lot'.

Sophie, who appears affected by anesthetic in the clip, nods in affirmation.

She captioned the video: 'So many women live not knowing they have endometriosis. If you have annoying cycles. You should ask your doctor'.

In a second video, the blonde is seen unconscious as she recovers from an unnamed procedure.

'Only I'd ask to be filmed under! Best sleep I've had in years' the former radio announcer joked.

Both clips were filmed at Monash IVF, a Sydney In Vitro Fertilisation clinic.

'It's all booked in. So I go to Spain to do Love Island and I'm going to do a travel special with [best pal] Oscar [Gordon] in Italy, and fly straight back and freeze them,' she told Jackie 'O' Henderson.
