The Shahapur Police have arrested a 28-year-old man for allegedly killing his employer who refused to give him an advance of Rs 1000. The police have also arrested one of his friends for helping the 28-year-old murdering his employer.
According to Indian Express, the accused has been identified as Santosh Dole (28) and his friend Santosh Nimbale. The Shahapur police from Atagaon, a village near Nashik, arrested the duo. The deceased has been identified as 60-year-old Ananti Barora who lived alone. She had a farmhouse where she grew vegetables and this is where Santosh Dole worked as a helper.
The police found the woman’s body in a secluded spot hidden by trees. After this, the police started investigating if anyone is missing, that’s when cops came to know that Ananti Barora was missing from October 27. And also that one of her farm help was missing.
But, it didn’t take time for cops to trace the missing employee, Santosh Dole. Cops traced him to Atagoan on Friday (November 2), and during interrogation, he confessed to the crime and also told cops that one of his friends helped him in killing Barora.
During interrogation, Dole told cops that he killed Barora as she declined to give him Rs 1000. An officer told the leading daily, “He had a family emergency and apparently wanted money from his next year’s salary. He also wanted a leave for three days. Barora declined both his requests and allegedly insulted him in front of others. He claims that this is what pushed him to murder her.” The duo had abducted Barora on October 27 night, after which they took her to a secluded spot and killed her with an axe.
