Retail inflation remains under 4; September factory output at 4.5%

In a big boost for Narendra Modi govt, the retail inflation remains under 4 and is at 3.31% from 3.70% in September. According to data released by the ministry of statistics and programme implementation lower food prices helped in easing inflation. Industrial output or factory growth expanded at an annual 4.5 per cent pace in September, against the forecast of 4.3 per cent.
