Aged couple mowed down in Hazira
TNN | Nov 12, 2018, 04:00 ISTSurat: An elderly couple died after a trailer rammed their bike near Reliance unit’s gate in Hazira on Sunday.
According to police, Jayantilal Chataiwala, 62 and his wife Uma, 60, had gone to pay obeisance at a temple and they were returning home. They were residents of Laxminagar in Udhna. Both died on the spot.
People who gathered at the spot called the ambulance and their bodies were taken to the hospital. The trailer’s driver fled from the spot after the accident.
