Kandahar-bound flight FG-312 was scheduled to depart from at around 15:45 but suddenly the security at the airport was alerted after airlines' pilot pressed the hijack button.

As per CISF sources, security was alerted and deployed for necessary action but later it was clarified that the pilot pressed the button by mistake.

After security clearance by the Bureau of Civil (BCAS), the aircraft took off for after two-hour delay.
