MUMBAI: The venue for the citizens' protest against the killing of tigress T1 (Avni) has shifted to Nana Nani Park at Shivaji Park in Dadar, on Sunday November 11, 4 pm onwards. Earlier, the protest was planned at Worli Seaface but the police did not grant permission, hence the venue is now changed to Shivaji Park.
"We want maximum number of people to join us in our fight for justice for the illegal killing of Avni. Also, we are highly worried about the fate of her two cubs who are yet to be traced in the forest, after Avni's death," said activist Anand Siva.
He added that they want all those responsible for killing Avni to face the law of the land, no matter what position they hold in the government.
