Actor Charlie Sheen has put out a public appeal for information about his father and mother Martin and Janet Sheen, after losing contact with them as they evacuated a wildfire in Malibu.
'[I] cannot get ahold of my parents, Martin and Janet Sheen. They are in the group, at the staging ground near Zuma Beach,' Charlie Sheen tweeted plaintively on Friday night.
Zuma Beach was a designated evacuation staging ground for Malibu after the massive Woolsey Fire prompted a citywide evacuation.
Charlie Sheen continued: 'If anyone has eyes on them, please let me know that they are safe and sound in the middle of this horrific scenario.'
The Woolsey Fire had scorched 35,000 acres in Ventura County and was zero percent contained at 8pm, according to the latest CAL FIRE update.

Zuma Beach was a designated shelter area for large animals as Malibu was being evacuated.
But by Friday night the beach was thick with smoke, forcing a DailyMail.com photographer to flee the area.
There were reports that as the flames closed in on the beach, hundreds were stranded there without access to food, water or shelter.
As night fell, the beach was crowded with horses, llamas and other animals, brought to the very edge of the water after it became seemingly apparent that only the ocean would stop the march of the flames.

At the end of the tweet, the man added that the message was a 'plea from my brother who is one of them' the he 'finally got ahold' of.

The Woolsey Fire and adjacent Hill Fire have prompted more than 150,000 people to evacuate from 75,000 homes in Southern California.
The fires in Ventura and Los Angeles Counties have so far not been associated with any deaths or injuries, but a simultaneous wildfire in Northern California, the Camp Fire, has killed nine.
At least 35 are missing in connection with the Camp Fire.
