Young graduates urged to seize opportunities in banking

The Hindu, in association with the Pace Institute of Banking, conducted a one-day seminar on bank examination preparation here on Saturday.

The seminar was inaugurated by E.C.K. Unnikrishnan (former DGM, Bank of India, and IBPS panel member). He explained the current opportunities in the banking sector in the country for young graduates.

Presiding over the function, Maneesha Joby, director, Pace, pointed out the challenges in competitive examinations. Ramachandran V.R., (former lead bank manager) motivated the participants to face the competitive examination.

The Pace Bank Coaching Institute, started with an objective of training students for various bank examinations, was founded by Joby Mathew and has created more than 1,000 bankers.
