He's the hunky Melbourne bank manager who has been tipped as the frontrunner to win Ali Oetjen's heart on The Bachelorette.

But on Saturday, Taite Radley, 28, dropped a hint that he might not be the one who walks into the sunset with the blonde bombshell during the 'fairy tale' finale.

Ahead of final episodes of the show, charming Taite shared a clip to Instagram in which he's having a tense conversation with the buxom beauty.

In the scene, Ali looks worried as she brings her fingers anxiously near her mouth as she chats to the finalist.

'I want you to be happy,' he tells Ali, with both of them appearing emotional.

Seeming to be feeling quite fraught, the Ballarat local goes on: 'Because you deserve the best.'

In posting the strained scene from the show, the hunk was possibly hinting his run might end sooner than viewers first thought.

This week, Taite will battle it out with handsome plumber Bill Goldsmith, 31, and Perth-based sales rep Todd King, 26, who remains the favourite for runner-up.

In the latest preview, Ali appears to have found love on the reality dating show, but it does tease a twist which sees the fitness trainer breakdown in tears.

First, Ali is first shown strolling across an idyllic beach alone, appearing to ponder the difficult choice she has before her.

'This is the moment I have been waiting for,' Ali can be heard saying in a voice over.

Sounding serene, she continues: 'I can't wait to tell him how much I love him.'

The perfect moment, however, takes an unusual turn as Ali speaks with host Osher Günsberg, who questions her choice of love match.

'Are you sure you're making the right decision?' he asks Ali pointedly.

Dressed in a stunning purple evening gown, a dramatic twist sees Ali inconsolable as she brings her hand up to her as she continues to cry, falling to the floor.
