CVC examines CBI chief Alok Verma

Verma was examined in the presence of CVC KV Chaudary and retired AK Pattnaik, who is supervising the case based on the Supreme Court's order.

Asthana had leveled allegations against Verma that he had tried to stop raids at the eleventh hour on the residence and office premises of Bihar's former in April this year. Asthana also alleged in his complaint to the CVC that Verma did not give him permission to travel to Verma in his reply has denied all allegations of corruption leveled against him.
