Two of our neighbor dwarf galaxies are in a fight to the death.????In a recent study published in the Astrophysical Journal Letters it was discovered that the nearby Large and Small Magellanic once collided.

????But researchers from The Australian National University say that the two galaxies have been taking jabs at one another for billions of years.

????One researcher even compare dit to the fight between bible characters David and Goliath if David didn’t have such good luck with his slingshot.

????Researchers say that some parts of the SMC were pushed toward or away from it.

????While portions of the LMC were said to be “heavily warped and pruned” while also being majorly distorted in other areas.

????And it seems like these to rivals will continue to do battle for years to come… that is until the Milky Way eats them both in a few hundred million years.
