Man injured in clash between right-wing activists
TNN | Nov 10, 2018, 04:45 ISTMangaluru: A man was stabbed during a scuffle between right-wing party workers at Doddanagudde on Thursday night.
According to police, the incident took place during a musical evening organised on the occasion of Diwali at Malpe Beach, where and altercation between right-wing party worker Sharath, 24, and a few others broke out. Locals, who were present at the spot pacified them, and asked them to leave the place.
However, accused Deepak took several others and went to Doddanagudde and again started quarrelling with Sharath . In the melee, one of them stabbed Sharath with a knife used in cock fights. Sharath was rushed to a private hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
A case has been registered at the Udupi Town police station.
