Two killed as bikes collide

Picture used for representational purpose onlyHISAR: Two youths were killed in a collision between two motorcycles on link road of Bithmada village to Uklana while two others, including a child, were injured on Wednesday late night. Bodies of 21-year-old Virendra Singh and 22-year-old Harvinder, both resident of Bithmara village of district Hisar, were handed over to their families after conducting post-mortem examinations.
Investigation officer in this case Dayaram said Virendra was going to Ukalana from Bithmara village while Harvinder was coming to Bithmada from Ukalana alongwith his friend Gurinder and a child.
Owing to darkness, both bikes collided head on resulting in severe injures to the bike riders. They were taken to a nearby hospital where they were declared dead by the doctors.
