She has been enjoying some quality time in her home country of Australia recently, after jetting in last week for the Spring Racing Carnival.

But it looks like Elle Macpherson has forgotten the road rules after years living overseas, as she risked a $330 fine while cycling in Sydney's Bondi Beach on Friday.

The 54-year-old mother-of-two was noticeably not wearing a helmet, which could land her in trouble if caught by a police officer.

Elle, who is nicknamed 'The Body', flaunted her slim figure in activewear, including black leggings and a cropped jumper.

The five-time Sports Illustrated cover star also wrapped up warm in a puffer jacket from The North Face.

She styled her long brunette hair in loose tousled curls and concealed her gaze behind dark sunglasses.

The supermodel, who hails from Sydney's Killara suburb, appeared in high spirits while soaking up the sun.

On Thursday, she was mocked by a bystander over the incident as she left her WelleCo beauty launch at Bondi Icebergs.
