A teenage boy was charged with felony evading after he led police on a wild chase on a Houston highway, according to local police.

Video showed the ludicrous chase that took place on the Eastex Freeway on Thursday morning between the teen and Humble police.

The teen had been driving down a street and refused to pull over for an officer. Driving ATV's on public streets is illegal, ABC13 reports.

Police then chased the teen to Homestead but managed to lose him in the process.

The ATV raced on and police were eventually able to catch up with him on Lauder Road. From there they went to the northbound lanes of the Freeway.

While the clip is only a few minutes long, the entire ordeal took well over an hour as police raced after the teen.

A DPS trooper even managed to catch up to the teen but didn't rush to apprehend him.
