Navi Mumbai:​ Devendra Fadnavis to commission Phase I Uran rail corridor on Sunday

NAVI MUMBAI: Union railway minister, Piyush Goyal and CM, Devendra Fadnavis will commission phase I of 12 km out of 27 km of the new Uran rail corridor Sunday.



The function will be held at the new station Kharkopar from where the train will run till Nerul. It's a 20-minute run. Phase I is Nerul-Kharkopar-Belapur. The second phase will be till Uran.


The service for commuters will start from Monday that will provide connectivity for the new Ulwe node to CST and Panvel on harbour route and Thane on the trans-harbour route.
