Some celebrity agents will do anything to keep their clients in the headlines.

But Max Markson's attempt at making former model Tziporah Malkah look like hot property backfired rather badly on Thursday.

The Englishman was seemingly caught paying a group of paparazzi $100 each to take 'intrusive' photos of Tziporah in Sydney.

Rather amusingly, Tziporah behaved as if she was being harassed by the group of photographers paid to follow her.

She was seen holding up her hand in protest and recording the paparazzi with a handheld video camera.

However, moments later, she was spotted happily chatting to the same people who had just been 'hounding' her.

The staged paparazzi shoot took place outside Tziporah's apartment in Rushcutters Bay. 

A source told Daily Mail Australia: 'Max paid the photographers $100 each and bought them lunch in exchange for playing along.' 

The insider claimed it was a 'desperate stunt to promote' Tziporah, who is eager to stay in the spotlight.

In an interview with Hit105's Stav, Abby & Matt last month, Tziporah complained about receiving unwanted attention from the paparazzi.

'Sometimes they're at the front of my house every day,' she said. 

Daily Mail has contacted Max Markson for comment and is awaiting a response.
