Collector M. Ram Mohan Rao here on Thursday, went round the Mirchi Compound area, enquiring door-to-door about the new enrolments in voter list and deletions and additions of voters.
Enquiring about fresh enrolments from booth-level officers, he called on the voters and interacted with them. He also asked about the polling station number and number of voters newly entered and so on. He suggested to the BLOs to remember all details in their polling station.
He also made a surprise visit to polling stations at Government high school, Nakasgalli and Sankar Bhavan, Kotagalli, to inspect facilities being provided for the smooth conduct of polling. Earlier, he visited the Tahsil office (north) and inspected records. Mr. Ram Mohan Rao asked the staff to maintain records well and keep surroundings neat.
