Mandi Director Vikram Singh Patel made allegations of misappropriations in urea distributions on government and held that common citizens have to wait whole day in queue for only 4-5 packets of urea and on the other hand merchants are selling Urea in the black marketing in huge quantities and at exorbitant rate of Rs 400-500.
He further held that with the government support merchants are hoarding urea and selling it at very high rate in open market and they are troubling the farmers for satisfying their own greed. He asserted that he will inform the collector about
corruption and also warned of mass agitation in future against this misappropriation.
