MP polls: BJP releases third list of contestants, adjusts Gaur's daughter-in-law, Vijayavargiya's son

BHOPAL: The central election committee of BJP on Thursday released its third list of 32 candidates including the most controversial seats of Indore district and Bhopal's Govindpura assembly constituency.
According to an official release, in the list, the party has announced Krishna Gaur, daughter-in-law of former chief minister Babulal Gaur as official candidate from controversial Govindpura seat where Babulal had put his claim for the last 10 assembly elections amid tussle over his replacement with BJP state general secretary V D Sharma.
Gaur said that he is happy that Krishna will now take over the responsibility of his assembly constituency.
In Indore, BJP adjusted Akash Vijayavargiya, son of national general secretary Kailash Vijayavargiya from Indore-2 seat which was won by his follower Ramesh Mandola by a margin of more than 90,000 votes. Mandola has been shifted to Indore 2 while, Usha Thakur, who won Indore 3 seat has been shifted to Mhow.
Vijayavargiya had a day before said that he was in favour of promoting young faces. He had also stated that Ramesh Mandola, MLA from Indore 2 is ready to vacate his seat for Akash.
The party has also given chance to Rakesh Chaturvedi, who joined BJP from Congress four years back, to contest Bhind assembly seat and fielded Ajit Borasi, son of former Congress leader Premchand Guddu, who joined BJP in New Delhi, from Ghattiyya seat in Ujjain district.
BJP is yet to release six names including Bhopal North seat which expected by evening or tomorrow, said sources.
