Rohan Chand plays Mowgli in Andy Serkis’ Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle.
The trailer of Andy Serkis’ Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle is out and it looks quite fascinating. After watching Jon Favreau’s live-action adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s novel on the big screen, the audience is expecting a marvelous film again.
In the trailer, we see Mowgli, played by Rohan Chand, navigating his way through the jungle. A pack of wolves finds him as a baby and bring him up as one of their own but things change when Mowgli discovers a village nearby where he meets folks like him. He is conflicted between the family that brought him up versus those who are his kind.

Towards the end of the trailer, there is an appearance by Shere Khan that leaves the audience asking for more. The film’s core story is how Mowgli discovers where he truly belongs.
The film stars Christian Bale as Bagheera, Cate Blanchett as Kaa, Andy Serkis as Baloo and the coveted part of Shere Khan is being played by Benedict Cumberbatch. The film also stars Matthew Rhys and Frieda Pinto.
The principal photography of this film started in 2015 as it was initially scheduled to release in 2016. But it was pushed as Favreau’s The Jungle Book released in the same year as well.
Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle will start streaming on Netflix from December 7. There will also be a limited theatrical release on November 29.
