WhatsApp ‘Forward Preview’ feature is currently not accessible by beta testers, but will be made available in the future. An exact timeline for the roll out is unknown at this point. WhatsApp’s upcoming feature will reportedly ask users to review whether they want to confirm or cancel forwarding the message or media. The option will appear when users forward a message or media to two or more people on their contact list.

WhatsApp is likely working on the feature in the wake of growing concerns of mob violence, lynching etc in India due to circulation of misinformation on the platform. The Facebook-owned company recently put a limit of five forwards in India. This means, a user can only forward a message or media to five contacts at once.

Last month, WhatsApp rolled out its own set of stickers for the platform. These include smiling teacup, crying broken heart and more, created by designers at WhatsApp as well as other artist. The support for third-party sticker packs has been added as well, which means designers globally can create stickers for the platform.
