A recently slimmed down Mel Greig showed off her curves at the Oaks Day races at Melbourne's Flemington racecourse on Thursday.

The 36-year-old radio host left little to the imagination in a low-cut pink wrap dress with button detailing.

She also wore a matching pink cape over the thigh-high mini dress, which hugged her figure.

In keeping with race day etiquette, Mel donned an oversize silver bow headpiece, and wore her long blonde hair loose in soft waves.

She accessorised with a pair of nude pointy-toe stilettos, and carried a matching nude-coloured box clutch purse.

Clearly excited to be at the races, Mel took to Instagram on Thursday to share a selection of photos of herself and her friends enjoying the festivities.

'Arrived at the Birdcage with the best squad,' she captioned a photo of herself and three girlfriends.

A second photo showed the media personality inside one of the exclusive marquees, clutching a glass of champagne.

'Our marquee has a real life woman turned into a @ghmummnz fountain... I can’t explain how happy this current situation makes me,' she captioned it, adding the hashtags '#stayclassymel' and '#wefancy'.

Last month, it was revealed Mel had lost 10 kilos as part of Who magazine's 10-Week Best Body Reboot Challenge.

It took her from a size 16 to a size 12, with the star now weighing in at 77 kilos.
